Katja Gorenšek decided years ago, when she was already a specialist in dermatology, to devote herself specifically to aesthetic dermatology and the performance of non-surgical aesthetic procedures, so she trained extensively in London, where she also lived.
In 2019, Katja and Samo Gorenšek, MD, organised an aesthetic congress in Portorož, where they passed on their knowledge to other doctors and where they invited their friends, aesthetic medicine doctors, dermatologists and plastic surgeons from England, France, India, Morocco, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, etc., to give lectures... The lecturers were outstanding doctors who have large aesthetic clinics abroad and whose regular job is to educate doctors about modern aesthetics. The congress was attended by 150 doctors from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia...
Her main focus is on aesthetic medicine and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
In 2018, she lectured at IMCAS, the largest aesthetic conference for dermatologists and plastic surgeons in Paris, on the impact of diet on the prevention of skin ageing.
She has written numerous articles on aesthetic dermatology for various journals.

He is a specialist dermatologist and has had a private practice in Budapest since 1994, where he specialises in dermatology and laser therapy. He is also the representative of a laser manufacturing company (Cynosure) for this part of Europe, an international teacher of laser therapy in dermatology, and an external consultant for pharmaceutical technology and research at the University of Szeged. He is also the head of Dr Derm, a company dedicated to the development of cosmetic products and medical devices.
