For a lighter step

Dilated blood vessels in the legs usually affect women, but men are also susceptible to them. Usually caused by hereditary factors, they can also appear during pregnancy, in obese people or when a person is subjected to repetitive and long-lasting periods of standing. They are not just an aesthetic issue; the symptoms also include heavy legs, swelling, cramps and skin lesions.

These can be treated surgically or non-surgically. Surgical interventions are used for larger varicose veins. In non-surgical treatment, laser removal of the visible smaller blood vessels in the legs plays an important role.

After carefully examining your varicose veins, any swelling or open wounds, the specialists at the SKIN centre will recommend the best type of treatment for you.
