Like skin around our body, the wooden wall wraps around the existing masonry structure of the central room of the dermatology practice. The load-bearing structure determines the floor layout, but its undulating walls hiding the service area give the room a softer appearance.
In order to avoid excessive sterility, the colours in the offices include warm tones of grey and white. Additionally, we used wood, which is a material only rarely seen in healthcare settings. There are many different textures that – like beautiful skin – invite us to touch them.
